A chiral N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-catalyzed [3 + 3] cycloaddition reaction of imines and oxindole-derived enals was developed for rapid access to spirocylic oxindoles. In most cases, the desired oxindole products were obtained in high yields excellent enantioselectivities with less than 1 h time.

Catalases (CATs), which were coded by the catalase gene family, a type notably distinguished ROS-metabolizing proteins implicated to perform various physiological functions in plant growth, development and stress responses. However, no systematical study has been performed cotton. In present study, we identified 7 CAT genes genome of Gossypium hirsutum L. Additionally, G. barbadense L., respectively. The results phylogenetic synteny analysis showed that divided into two groups, whole-genome...

Salinity stress is a major abiotic affecting the productivity and fiber quality of cotton. Although reactive oxygen species (ROS) play critical roles in plant responses, their complex molecular regulatory mechanism under salinity largely unknown cotton, especially microRNA (miRNA)-mediated regulation superoxide dismutase gene expression. Here, we report that cotton iron GhFSD1 miRNA ghr-miR414c work together response to stress. The targets coding sequence region GhFSD1, inhibiting expression...

An N-heterocyclic carbene-catalyzed highly enantioselective [3 + 3] annulation reaction of N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) 3,3-disubstituted acrylates and N-Ts ketimines was developed. In most cases, the desired chiral dihydropyridinone products bearing an all carbon quaternary stereogenic center could be obtained in good yields with excellent enantioselectivities (>99% ee's), which demonstrated NHPI as a kind substrate NHC-catalysis.

Abstract Background Plant NADPH oxidase (NOX), also known as respiratory burst homolog (rboh), encoded by the rboh gene, is a key enzyme in reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolic network. It catalyzes formation of superoxide anion (O 2 •− ), type ROS. In recent years, various studies had shown that members plant gene family were involved growth and developmental processes well biotic abiotic stress responses, but little about its functional role upland cotton. Results present study, 26...

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a connective tissue fibrotic disease for which there no effective treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), such as the Yiqihuoxue formula used in Shanghai TCM-integrated Hospital, has shown efficacy of anti-fibrosis clinical applications. This study was aiming to dissect anti-fibrotic mechanism treatment SSc. Bleomycin-induced mice and SSc dermal fibroblasts were treated with decoction; NIH-3T3 exposed exogenous TGF-β1, then cultured or without decoction....

Background Ketamine was developed as an anesthetic. Esketamine is the isolated S-enantiomer of racemic ketamine. They provide new avenues for treatment depression, especially treatment-resistant depression. Considering differences in pharmacokinetics and hormonal status ketamine patients different genders, sex-based esketamine adverse drug events (ADE) may also be observed. This study presents data mining safety analysis between promoting individualization clinical practice. Methods Adverse...

Our previous study has demonstrated that TF/FVIIa and PAR2 are closely related to the proliferation migration of colon cancer cell line SW620. However, detailed molecular mechanisms in process remain unclear. This further investigated whether some important molecules (caspase-3, MMP-9 CD44) involved events. The results showed PAR2-AP or FVIIa elicited time-dependent downregulation caspase-3, up-regulation CD44 SW620 cells. effects were TF-dependent involving PAR2/MAPKs/NF-κB signal...
