To establish a numerical spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT)-based keratoconus (KC) staging system and compare it with existing KC systems.Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou, China.Retrospective case-control study.Scheimpflug tomography, air-puff tonometry, SD-OCT were performed on 236 normal 331 eyes. All SD-OCT-derived parameters the corneal epithelium stroma evaluated based their receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, area under curve (AUC),...
Background: Treatment for melanoma is a challenging clinical problem, and some new strategies are worth exploring. Purpose: The objective of this study was to investigate the in vitro vivo anti-melanoma effects hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (HANPs) discuss involved material factors. Materials methods: Five types HANPs, ie, HA-A, HA-B, HA-C, HA-D, HA-E, were prepared by wet chemical method combining with polymer template appropriate post-treatments. as-prepared five HANPs on inhibiting...
Abstract: Pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia is rare in healthy children. Dermatologic manifestations, such as ecthyma gangrenosum and indurated erythematous nodular lesions, the first signs of pseudomonas infection have rarely been reported. Physical examination revealed symmetrical, violaceous erythema...
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common skin disorder with elevated prevalence. Cataract induced by AD rarely occurs in adolescent and young adult patients, which also called atopic cataract. Using whole exome sequencing, we aimed to explore genetic alterations among cataract. We recruited 19 year-old Chinese male accompanied cataracts, his father mother without or Through analysis of the exomic sequence 3 individuals from same family, identified that respect AD, there were 162 genes mutated both...
Trichilemmal carcinoma (TC) is a rare malignancy of cutaneous adnexal carcinoma, with only 136 cases reported in the literature to date. It usually has an indolent course and benign clinical evolution, four regional distant metastasis have been reported. Tumor cells present characteristics trichilemmal differentiation on both histological immunohistological examination. We report case TC scalp aggressive ipsilateral neck. Moreover, lesions presented two distinct morphologies.Despite potential...
Osteoporosis is a common finding following chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), but there are few reports on the relationship between bone mineral density (BMD) and syndrome types described in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) patients with COPD. A cross-sectional medical survey was used this study. Twenty-six male COPD 26 age-matched healthy subjects were recruited. The symptom questionnaire of TCM implemented, thereafter divided into two subgroups: type deficiency lung spleen...
Indeterminate dendritic cell tumor (IDCT) is a proliferation of CD1a+, S100+ and langerin-histiocytes with generally benign course. Here, we describe case 90-year-old male who developed skin lesions on his scalp mimicking angiosarcoma lymphadenopathy. He died six months after the onset despite months' radiotherapy.Pathological examination ruled out showed high Ki-67 index. The appearance lymphadenopathy led to challenges in diagnosis development treatment plan.(Ann Dermatol 29(5) 614∼ 617, 2017) -
