Although elevated plasma plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) is associated with obesity, very little known about its tissue or cellular origin, the events that lead to increased PAI-1 levels under obese conditions. Since TNF-alpha in rodents both during obesity and response endotoxin treatment, we examined effects of these agents on gene expression adipose CB6 mice. In untreated mice, mRNA was detected mature adipocytes stromal vascular cells. Both significantly tissue, peaking at 3-8...

Massive obstetric haemorrhage remains a major cause of maternal death attributable to hypofibrinogenaemia. Transfusion large volumes fresh frozen plasma (FFP) is required normalise fibrinogen levels. We compared the efficacy FFP (F group) with that plus concentrate + F in massive haemorrhage. In this retrospective study, we medical charts (2004-2016) 137 patients <150 mg/dl treated (n = 47; after August 2009) or 56; before 2009). Objective The aim of this study was to clarify the safety colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) during era health insurance coverage starting from April 2012 in Japan. Methods Between and May 2016, ESD applied 398 lesions 373 patients. Risk factors for serious complications ESD, perforation post-ESD bleeding, were evaluated focusing on resected specimen size, location, growth pattern, invasion depth, histopathology, postoperative clipping, procedure time. Although only fresh frozen plasma (FFP) available for acquired hypofibrinogenemia in Japan, the hemostatic effect FFP has not been enough TAA surgery. There are increasing reports suggesting that fibrinogen concentrate may be effective controlling perioperative bleeding and reducing transfusion requirements. We retrospectively analyzed compared...

At the beginning of 2020, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) led to epidemics worldwide. Obesity and visceral fat accumulation have been reported be independent risk factors for COVID-19. Several reports focused on levels adipocytokines/adipokines, including adiponectin (APN), which is exclusively secreted from adipocytes, although importance these in conditions remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated relationship between serum...
