MicroRNAs (miRNA) have emerged as key players in carcinogenesis. Here, we investigated the role of miR-137 pathogenesis lung cancer. The downregulation cancer cells could be rescued following inhibition DNA methylation. Ectopic expression significantly downregulated Cdc42, Cdk6 and induced G1 cell cycle arrest, leading to a significant decrease growth vivo vitro. Further, both Cdc42 were confirmed targets miR-137.

Neuronal apoptosis and inflammation are two critical factors that impede functional recovery post spinal cord injury (SCI). Previous studies have demonstrated the inhibitory effects of integrated stress response inhibitor (ISRIB) on neuroinflammation in brain injury. However, whether ISRIB can regulate neuron death context SCI remains elusive. We employed an oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R) model to simulate ischemia-reperfusion utilized lipopolysaccharide (LPS) activate...

Rationale: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) play important roles in tissue repair and regeneration. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying MSCs activation remain largely unknown, thus hindering their clinical translation. Exosomes are small vesicles that act as intercellular messengers, potential for cell pathological conditions has not been fully characterized yet. Here, we aim to investigate whether serum exosomes involved remote of after myocardial infarction (MI). Methods: We...

Abstract Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) contribute to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) progression, but the underlying mechanisms remain elusive. In this study, we verified a hitherto uncharacterized hypoxia-responsive lncRNA, G077640, which is upregulated in human ESCC cells and tissues, supporting proliferation migration of cells. Mechanistically, G077640 prevented hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF1α) from being degraded by directly interacting with histone H2AX further modulated...
