High-fat diet-induced obesity is characterized by low-grade inflammation, which has been linked to gut microbiota dysbiosis. We hypothesized that quercetin supplementation would alter and reduce inflammation in obese mice. Male C57BL/6J mice, 4 weeks of age, were divided into 3 groups, including a low-fat diet group, high-fat (HFD) plus (HFD+Q) group. The mice HFD+Q group given 50 mg per kg BW gavage for 20 weeks. body weight, fat accumulation, barrier function, glucose tolerance, adipose...

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effect of Semaglutide on skeletal muscle and its metabolomics. Methods: A total 18 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into normal control (NC) group, high-fat diet (HFD) group HFD+Semaglutide given standard diet, HFD plus Semaglutide, respectively. The body weight, gastrocnemius serum lipid, blood glucose inflammatory index levels in each observed compared, morphological structural changes also analyzed. Meanwhile, metabolite analyzed by...

Abstract Galangin suppresses proliferation and induces apoptosis autophagy in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells, but the precise mechanism is not clear. In this study, we demonstrated that galangin induced autophagy, enhanced binding of SIRT1-LC3 reduced acetylation endogenous LC3 HepG2 cells. But was inhibited by inactivation SIRT1 meanwhile, failed to reduce after knocked-down. Collectively, these findings demonstrate a new which via deacetylation SIRT1.

Hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) are central to hematopoiesis as they provide large numbers of lineage-defined blood necessary sustain homeostasis. They one the most actively cycling somatic cells, and their precise control is critical for hematopoietic The small GTPase RhoA an intracellular molecular switch that integrates cytokine, chemokine, adhesion signals coordinate multiple context-dependent cellular processes. By using a conditional knockout mouse model, we show deficiency...

Accelerated brain aging had been widely reported in patients with schizophrenia (SZ). However, trajectories SZ have not well-documented using three-modal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. In this study, 138 and 205 normal controls aged 20-60 were included multimodal MRI data acquired for each individual, including structural MRI, resting state-functional diffusion tensor imaging. The age of participant was estimated by features extracted from linear multiple regression. correlation...

Abstract Acrylamide (ACR) is a potent neurotoxin that can be produced during high‐temperature food processing, but the underlying toxicological mechanism remains unclear. In this study, detrimental effects of ACR on striatal dopaminergic neurons and roles mitogen‐activated protein kinases (MAPKs) nuclear factor κB (NF‐κB) in ACR‐induced neuronal apoptosis were investigated. Acute exposure caused loss as revealed by decreased tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)‐positive cells TH level increased...

Background/Aims: Increasing evidence suggests the important role of sirtuin 2 (SIRT2) in pathology Parkinson’s disease (PD). However, association between potential functional polymorphisms SIRT2 gene and PD still needs to be identified. Exploring molecular mechanism underlying this could also provide novel insights into pathogenesis disorder. Methods: Bioinformatics analysis screening were first performed find microRNAs (miRNAs) that target gene, biology experiments carried out further...

Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is an integrin-binding cytoplasmic protein that involved in regulating numerous cellular processes and extracellular matrix accumulation. We reported ILK may be senescence, but whether the cause of senescence or accompanying phenomenon still remains to explored. Here, RNA interference gene transfer techniques were used knock down overexpress 3-month-old 28-monthold rat primary cardiac fibroblasts. The results show that, younger cells, overexpression induces larger...

Abstract Goji ( Lycium barbarum L.) is a highly medicinal value tree species. The yield and nutritional contents of goji fruit are significant affected by fertilizer level. In this study, we analyzed the change fruit, which planted in pot (vermiculite:perlite, 1:2, v:v) growth chamber under P0 (32.5 g/per tree), P1 (65 P2 (97.5 tree). Meanwhile, utilized an integrated Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography–Electrospray Ionization–Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UPLC–ESI–MS/MS) to analysis...
