Spatial statistics is an important methodology for geospatial data analysis. It has evolved to handle spatially autocorrelated and (locally) heterogeneous data, which aim capture the first second laws of geography, respectively. Examples stratified heterogeneity (SSH) include climatic zones land-use types. Methods such are relatively underdeveloped compared two properties. The presence SSH evidence that nature lawful structured rather than purely random. This induces another "layer"...

CRISPR-Cas9 technology has been widely used for genome engineering. Its RNA-guided endonuclease Cas9 binds specifically to target DNA and then cleaves the two strands with HNH RuvC nuclease domains. However, structural information regarding cleavage-activating state of domains remains sparse. Here, we report a 5.2 Å cryo-EM structure in complex sgRNA DNA. This reveals conformational which domain is closest cleavage site. Compared known states, our shows that active site moves toward by about...

The AlON film with homogeneous nitrogen-doping profile was grown by plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) at low temperature. In this work, the precursors of NH3 and O2 were simultaneously introduced into chamber during PEALD growth a relatively temperature 185 °C. It is found that composition obtained quickly changes from AlN to Al2O3 when small amount added. Thus, NH3:O2 ratio should be maintained high level (>85%) for realizing growth. Benefited method, nitrogen can doped evenly...

Characterization of the onset a phase transition is often challenging due to fluctuations correlation length scales order parameters.
