Background X-linked Alport syndrome (XLAS) is a progressive hereditary nephropathy caused by mutations in the COL4A5 gene. Genotype-phenotype correlation male XLAS relatively well established; relative to truncating mutations, nontruncating exhibit milder phenotypes. However, transcript comparison between cases with splicing abnormalities that result premature stop codon and those has not been reported, mainly because analysis routinely conducted patients XLAS. Methods We examined expression...
ABSTRACT Aim We aimed to validate the incidence of, risk factors for, and postoperative outcomes of acute kidney injury (AKI) according modified Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (m‐KDIGO) criteria compare this with both paediatric Risk, Injury, Failure, Loss, End‐stage disease (pRIFLE) Acute Injury Network (AKIN) in infants after cardiac surgery. Methods retrospectively enrolled 145 consecutive who underwent open‐heart surgery at Kagoshima University Hospital. Results was present 55...
Cat scratch disease (CSD) is an infectious caused by Bartonella henselae. Atypical clinical presentations of CSD include prolonged fever and multiple hepatosplenic lesions.
Abstract Stenotrophomonas maltophilia causes pneumonia and CVC ‐CRBSI in HSCT . However, there are few reports of pyomyositis due to S. We report a patient with CRBSI after allogeneic who was successfully treated by removing the antibiotics without surgical drainage. Removing combined preventing neutrophil engraftment could avoid drainage when detected an early stage.
