We demonstrate the generation of alternating spin current (SC) via spin-rotation coupling (SRC) using a surface acoustic wave (SAW) in Cu film. Ferromagnetic resonance caused by injecting SAWs was observed Ni-Fe film attached to film, with further found be suppressed through insertion SiO_{2} into interface. The intensity depended on angle between vector SAW and magnetization This angular dependence is explicable terms presence transfer torque from SC generated SRC.

Tertiary lymphoid tissues (TLTs) facilitate local T and B cell interactions in chronically inflamed organs. However, the cells molecular pathways that govern TLT formation are poorly defined. Here, we identified TNF superfamily CD153/CD30 signaling between 2 unique age-dependent lymphocyte subpopulations, CD153+PD-1+CD4+ senescence-associated (SAT) CD30+T-bet+ age-associated (ABCs), as a driver for expansion. SAT cells, which produced ABC-inducing factors IL-21 IFN-γ, ABCs progressively...

Significance Statement Ectopic lymphoid structures called tertiary tissues (TLTs) develop in several kidney diseases and are associated with poor renal prognosis. However, the mechanisms underlying TLT expansion their effect on regeneration remain unclear. The authors report that single-nucleus RNA sequencing validation experiments demonstrate TLTs potentially amplify inflammation aged injured kidneys. Lymphocytes within promote proinflammatory phenotypes of surrounding proximal tubules...

Tertiary lymphoid tissues (TLTs) are ectopic structures induced by multiple stimuli, including infection and tissue injuries; however, their clinical relevance in disease progression has remained unclear. We demonstrated previously that TLTs develop mouse human kidneys with aging can be a potential marker of kidney injury prognosis, therapeutic targets. In addition, we found two types unique lymphocytes emerge aging, senescence-associated T cells age-associated B cells, essential for TLT...

Chronic kidney disease is a global health problem with high morbidity and mortality rates. Acute injury substantially increases the risk of chronic progression, particularly in elderly, partly because prolonged inflammation that exacerbates fibrosis dysfunction. Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) are ectopic aggregates develop non-lymphoid organs during inflammation, such as autoimmune diseases, cancers, age-related inflammation. Age-dependent TLS formation observed various organs, kidneys,...

While epidemiological and experimental studies have demonstrated kidney-protective effects of estrogen female sex in adulthood, some data showed deterioration kidney function during puberty when production increases. However, molecular mechanisms explaining these conflicting phenomena remain unknown. Here, we that the pubertal hormone surge mice increases susceptibility to ischemia reperfusion injury partly via downregulation insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R) expression proximal...

Abstract WDR19 has been reported as a causative gene of nephronophthisis‐related ciliopathies. Patients with mutations can show various extrarenal manifestations such skeletal disorders, Caroli disease, and retinal dystrophy, typically display nephronophthisis renal phenotype. However, there is limited information on the phenotypes patients mutations. We report two Japanese infants Sensenbrenner syndrome caused by who demonstrated different features in ultrasound histopathological results,...

Abstract Background Despite advances in non‐invasive vascular imaging, detection of renal artery stenosis via catheter angiography is the criterion standard for diagnosis renovascular hypertension (RVH). However, because lack evidence, utility various blood tests and imaging modalities remains unclear. Methods We retrospectively analyzed (plasma renin activity [PRA], aldosterone, vein [RVR] values) studies (computed tomography [CTA], kidney ultrasonography [US]) by comparing them with...

Bordetella pertussis infection is a known trigger of atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). For patients suspected having HUS, prompt plasma exchange/infusion (PE/PI) or eculizumab (ECZ) treatment recommended. We report 1-month-old female infant who was admitted with severe cough and B. pertussis-positive sputum culture. She born at 38 weeks gestation did not have family history renal diseases. Hemophagocytic she transferred to our hospital 17 days after her initial admission. One day...

Locally advanced right-sided colon cancer sometimes requires procedures in addition to normal complete mesocolic excision. Children with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) generally undergo a pretreatment kidney biopsy.
