Likely as in other viral respiratory diseases, SARS-CoV-2 elicit a local immune response, which includes production and releasing of both cytokines secretory immunoglobulin (SIgA). Therefore, this study, we investigated the levels specific-SIgA for airways mucosa 37 patients who were suspected COVID-19. According to RT-PCR results, separated into three groups: negative COVID-19 viruses (NEGS, n = 5); but positive presence (OTHERS, (COVID-19, 27). Higher SARS-CoV-2, IFN-β, IFN-γ found group...

HIV drug resistance genotype testing, performed on 39 HIV-infected treatment-naive children from 2000 to 2011, identified 5 (12.8%) with mutations: 5.3% nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, nonnucleoside inhibitors and 7.7% protease inhibitors. There was a trend for increasing prevalence of mutations during the 11-year study period.

There is a massive demand to identify alternative methods detect new cases of COVID-19 as well investigate the epidemiology disease. In many countries, importation commercial kits poses significant impact on their testing capacity and increases costs for public health system. We have developed an ELISA IgG antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 using recombinant viral nucleocapsid (rN) protein expressed in E. coli. Using total 894 clinical samples we showed that rN-ELISA was able with high...
