Based on Diels–Alder reaction, linear bisfuranic terminated poly(tetramethylene oxide) and poly(p-dioxanone) were crosslinked by tris(2-maleimide ethyl)amine; this process was fully reversible under moderate conditions. All of the results indicate that co-network possesses typical advantages chemical physical crosslinking, peculiar thermal invertibility, shape memory effect self-healability.

Exposure to ambient fine particulate matter (PM2.5) increases risks for cardiovascular disorders (CVD). However, the mechanisms and components responsible effects are poorly understood. Based on our previous murine exposure studies, a translational pilot study was conducted in female residents of Jinchang Zhangye, China, test hypothesis that specific chemical component PM2.5 is associated CVD. Daily personal exposures 35 elements were measured two cities. A total 60 healthy nonsmoking adult...

Asthma is a global and increasingly prevalent disease. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 235 million people suffer from asthma. Studies suggest that fine particulate matter (PM2.5) can induce innate immune responses, promote allergic sensitization, exacerbate asthmatic symptoms airway hyper-responsiveness. Recently, severe asthma sensitization have been associated with T-helper cell type 17 (TH17) activation. Few studies investigated links between PM2.5 exposure,...
