Winter jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. Dongzao) is a late-maturing and superior fresh variety. However, there have been few reports on the comprehensive evaluation of winter quality. Here, we revealed differences characteristics 46 sensory nutritional quality indices from four main producing areas in China. Moreover, Pearson correlation analysis, principal component hierarchical clustering analysis were employed to comprehensively evaluate jujube. As result, 89.13 % tested significantly...

Pneumonia is the leading cause of death among children under five, and kill almost two million each year. Quercetin, a flavonoid polyphenolic compound, exerts many beneficial biological activities, including anti-inflammatory functions. Our study aimed to investigate possibility quercetin as therapeutic agent for pneumonia its role in inflammatory response induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).

Apoptosis is a tightly controlled process by which tissues eliminate unwanted cells. Spontaneous germ cell apoptosis in testis has been broadly investigated mammals that have an associated spermatogenesis pattern. However, the mechanism of seasonally breeding reptiles following dissociated remained enigmatic. In present study, morphological evidence clearly confirmed pattern Pelodiscus sinensis. TUNEL and TEM analyses presented dynamic changes ultrastructural characteristics apoptotic cells...

Osteoporosis (OP) is considered as one of the major comorbidities rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and responsible for fragility fracture. However, there currently no effective treatment RA complicated with OP. Tubson-2 decoction (TBD), a Mongolian medicine also known Erwei Duzhong Decoction, has been shown to exert preventive effect on post-menopausal osteoporosis (PMOP). The effects TBD RA-induced OP, well bioactive compound underlying mechanisms, remain be elucidated. To explore OP in vivo,...

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) treatment relied on anthracyclines and cytarabine based intensive chemotherapy. However, clinical outcomes are unsatisfied for patients with intermediate/adverse cytogenetics European Leukemia Net (ELN) risk stratification 2022 (ELN 2022), relapses also remain common even in favorable-risk measurable residual disease (MRD). There is an urgent unmet need optimizing chemotherapy regimens novel agents, to enhance the MRD-negative rate, achieve durable remission,...

Abstract Telocytes (Tcs) are cells with telopodes (Tps), which very long cellular extensions alternating thin segments (podomers) and dilated bead‐like thick regions known as podoms. Tcs a distinct category of interstitial have been identified in many mammalian organs including heart, lung kidney. The present study investigates the existence, ultrastructure, distribution contacts surrounding uterus (shell gland) oviduct C hinese soft‐shelled turtle, P elodiscus sinensis . Samples from...

In this study, we investigated the localization, morphological features and cellular interactions of telocytes in rat testicular interstitium. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) immunohistochemical immunofluorescence analyses interstitium showed a distinct layer surround seminiferous tubules along with inner peritubular myoid cells. The majority were made up small cell body moniliform prolongations that contained mitochondria secretory vesicles. Some other observed possessing large...

Abstract The fine structures, enzyme histochemical, and immunohistochemical characterization of liver in zebrafish were investigated using light microscopy electron microscopy. results showed that was separated into three lobes each lobe had a central vessel comparable to the mammalian vein. However typical hepatic lobules, portal areas, arteries not observed. A vein entered its tributaries connected directly sinusoids, which then converged vessel. Three vessels finally carried blood out...

Uterine inflammation occurs after calving in association with extensive endometrial remodelling and bacterial contamination. If the persists, it leads to reduced fertility. Chronic endometritis is highly prevalent high-yielding cows that experience negative energy balance (NEB) early lactation. Abstract Based on the leukemia‐associated immunophenotypes (LAIPs), minimal residual disease (MRD) related to outcome can be detected by multiparameter flow cytometry in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. Although 0.1% was commonly used as a cutoff value, measurable MRD or level below has also been associated with prognostic significance and more sensitive thresholds (<0.1%) are required for improving AML prognosis prediction. In this study, 292 adult patients diagnosed (non‐M3) were...
