Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is characterized by a dismal prognosis with limited therapeutic alternatives. To explore phosphatase and tension homolog (PTEN) as biomarker for proteasome inhibition in ICC, we conducted phase II trial to assess the second-line efficacy of bortezomib PTEN-deficient advanced ICC patients.
Targeted surveillance for influenza A(H7N9) identified 24 cases of infection with this virus in Guangzhou, China, during April 1, 2013-March 7, 2014.
