Background and AimsPurple acid phosphatases (PAPs) are members of the metallo-phosphoesterase family have been known to play important roles in phosphorus (P) acquisition recycling plants. Low P availability is a major constraint growth production soybean, Glycine max. Comparative studies on structure, transcription regulation responses phosphate (Pi) deprivation soybean PAP gene should facilitate further insights into potential physiological GmPAPs.

The COVID-19 pandemic has sparked unprecedented public health and social measures (PHSM) by national local governments, including border restrictions, school closures, mandatory facemask use stay at home orders. Quantifying the effectiveness of these interventions in reducing disease transmission is key to rational policy making response current future pandemics. In order estimate interventions, detailed descriptions their timelines, scale scope are needed. Health Intervention Tracking for...

Induction of secreted and intracellular purple acid phosphatases ( PAPs ; EC 3.1.3.2) is widely recognized as an adaptation plants to phosphorus (P) deficiency. The secretion plays important roles in P acquisition. However, little known about the functions PAP nodules. In this study, we identified a novel gene GmPAP21 soybean. Expression was induced by limitation nodules, roots old leaves, increased with increasing duration starvation. Furthermore, induction nodules more intensive than...

Arbuscules are the central structures of symbiotic association between terrestrial plants and arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. However, arbuscules also ephemeral structures, following development, these soon digested ultimately disappear. Currently, little is known regarding mechanism underlying digestion senescent arbuscules. Here, biochemical functional analyses were integrated to test hypothesis that a purple acid phosphatase, GmPAP33, controls hydrolysis phospholipids during arbuscule...

The insoluble phosphorus in the soil is extremely difficult to be absorbed and used directly through potato root system. Although many studies have reported that phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) can promote plant growth uptake of phosphorus, molecular mechanism by PSB has not been investigated yet. In present study, were isolated from rhizosphere soybean. data yield quality revealed strain P68 was most effective identification, field experiment, pot experiment transcriptome profiling...

African American women are affected by earlier onset of age-associated health deteriorations and obesity disproportionally, but little is known about the mechanism linking body mass index (BMI) biological aging among this population. DNA methylation age acceleration (DNAm AA), measuring difference between chronological age, a novel biomarker process, predicts aging-related disease outcomes. The present study estimated cross-tissue using saliva samples from 232 mothers. Cross-sectional...

Notch signaling is involved in the early process of differentiation to determine fate stem cells. However, precise role human bone marrow‑derived mesenchymal cells (hBMSCs) remains unclear. The present study aimed investigate involvement signalling during course hBMSC into cardiomyocytes using hBMSCs, with multilineage ability, isolated and purified from marrow. Flow cytometric analysis revealed that CD29, CD44 CD90 were highly expressed on surface their fifth passage, whereas detection CD34,...

Fresh fruits and vegetable products are easily perishable during postharvest handling due to enzymatic browning reactions. This phenomenon has contributed a significant loss of food. To reveal the physiological changes in fresh-cut potato tubers at molecular level, transcriptome analysis after cutting was carried out. A total 10,872, 10,449, 11,880 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified 4 h, 12 h 24 cutting, respectively. More than 87.5% these DEGs classified into categories...

ABSTRACT Background Several monogenic causes for isolated dystonia have been identified, but they collectively account only a small proportion of cases. Two genome‐wide association studies reported few potential risk loci; conclusions limited by sample sizes, partial coverage genetic variants, or poor reproducibility. Objective To identify robust variants and loci in large multicenter cervical cohort using approach. Methods We performed study samples from the Dystonia Coalition. Logistic...
