Abstract Objective This study investigated the influence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) on lung function in early convalescence phase. Methods A retrospective COVID-19 patients at Fifth Affiliated Hospital Sun Yat-sen University were conducted, with serial assessments including volumes (TLC), spirometry (FVC, FEV1), diffusing capacity for carbon monoxide (DLCO),respiratory muscle strength, 6-min walking distance (6MWD) and high resolution CT being collected 30 days after discharged....

Abstract The new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) outbreak originating from Wuhan, China, poses a threat to global health. While it’s evident that the virus invades respiratory tract and transmits human through airway, other viral tropisms transmission routes remain unknown. We tested RNA in stool 73 SARS-CoV-2-infected hospitalized patients using rRT-PCR. 53.42% of positive stool. 23.29% remained feces even after decreased undetectable level tract. was also detected gastrointestinal tissues....

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic has been almost controlled in China under a series of policies, including "early diagnosis and early treatment". This study aimed to explore the association between treatment with Qingfei Paidu decoction (QFPDD) favorable clinical outcomes. In this retrospective multicenter study, we included 782 patients (males, 56 %; median age 46) confirmed COVID-19 from 54 hospitals nine provinces China, who were divided into four groups according...

The presence and molecular characteristics of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) among meat products in China were investigated. A total 110 carbapenem-resistant (CRE) isolates, including 94 Escherichia coli 10 Klebsiella pneumoniae identified from 105 794 (13.2%) samples. positive rates markedly increased 2016 (9.4%) to 2018 (22.2%). Only blaNDM genes detected; 79.1% carried by IncX3 plasmids. Routine monitoring the animal food supply is highly recommended.

Deaths attributed to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) are mainly due severe hypoxemic respiratory failure. Although the inflammatory storm has been considered main pathogenesis of COVID-19, hypersensitivity may be another important mechanism involved in cases, which have a perfect response corticosteroids (CS).We detected serum level anti-SARS-CoV-2-spike S1 protein-specific IgE (SP-IgE) and anti-SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid (NP-IgE) COVID-19. Methods This multicenter case–control study compared patients with pneumonia, admitted between March 1 and May 31, 2020. Patients co-infection were excluded. The F/P in compared.
