Introduction Up to one-fifth of breast cancer survivors will develop chronic cancer-related lymphoedema (BCRL). To date, complex physical decongestion therapy (CDT) is the gold standard treatment. However, it mainly symptomatic and often ineffective in preventing BCRL progression. Lymphovenous anastomosis (LVA) vascularised lymph node transfer (VLNT) are microsurgical techniques that aim restore lymphatic drainage. This international randomised trial aims evaluate advantages interventions...

Cavernous hemangioma of the adrenal gland is a rare non-functioning benign neoplasm.A 62-year-old woman with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was diagnosed as having an incidental tumor. Because impossibility ruling out presence malignancy, conventional surgical resection carried out. The histopathology revealed 12.5cm×11.5cm×8cm mass large and lacunae vascular spaces lined mature endothelial cells. These findings were compatible cavernous hemangioma. The majority patients in literature...

Although metastatic melanoma is most frequently found in liver, lungs, and brain, metastases the gallbladder are from melanoma. Here, we present a case of isolated during cholecystectomy. 74-year-old male with personal history hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, arrhythmia. A skin lesion was on right malar region. An excisional biopsy performed histopathological examination showed an ulcerated nodular-type malignant melanoma, Breslow 7.6 mm, Clark IV. Surgical excision margins 2 cm...

Objective: The Transatlantic Australasian Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Working Group conducted a retrospective study on the disease course and clinical management of ganglioneuromas. Background: Ganglioneuromas are rare tumors derived from neural crest cells. Data these remain limited to case reports single-institution series. Methods: Patients all ages with pathologically confirmed primary retroperitoneal, intra-abdominal, pelvic ganglioneuromas between January 1, 2000, 2020, were included. We...

Mucinous cystadenomas and carcinomas of the ovary are well-established common tumors. However, Primary retroperitoneal mucinous (PRMCs) very rare. We present a 50-year-old woman referred to our institution with history intermittent abdominal pain palpable mass in her left flank. On CT-scan an unilocular cystic thin wall measuring 171×155×108mm retroperitoneum was shown. Patient underwent surgical excision tumor. The histopathology examination showed fibrous epithelium composed single layer...

Distant metastases of differentiated thyroid cancer are unusual; lung and bones the most frequently affected sites. Soft tissue (STM) extremely rare. We describe two cases patients with metastasizing to soft tissues. Both had widespread metastatic disease; clinically asymptomatic were found by 18-Fluordeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F FDG PET-CT), confirmed cytological and/or histopathological studies. These findings underscore ability 18F PET-CT in...

Adrenal glands are a common site of metastasis for several types malignancies. Nevertheless, bilateral leading to adrenal insufficiency is very rare presentation. We present 62-year-old woman with previous history colorectal cancer and associated primary insufficiency. The patient underwent open adrenalectomy after multidisciplinary tumour board evaluation. The incidence may be underestimated in patients cancer. function must evaluated those presenting masses hormonal replacement therapy...

For patients affected by extremity or trunk soft-tissue sarcomas (STS) large resections might be needed to achieve negative margins. This is a common scenario especially in locally advanced recurrent tumors often within pre-irradiated field. The objective of this study was evaluate the results free-flap reconstructions (FFR) after sarcoma surgery. endpoints were surgical results, quality margins and oncological outcome. Retrospective analysis with STS reconstruction between 2008 2022....

Lymphangiomas (LG) are a rare type of lesion the lymphatic vessels. They predominantly occur in young patients, mostly female. Adrenal location represents 0.06 % reported cases literature. Characteristically, LGs often clinically silent and discovered incidentally during abdominal imaging studies performed for other reasons. Definitive diagnosis is done by histopathologic analysis specimen. The rarity this pathology lack reports makes entity challenging.

Complete surgical resection of soft-tissue sarcomas (STSs) frequently requires complex multivisceral resections, which is the most important factor related to overall survival and local recurrence. Major vascular involvement not rare in patients with primary retroperitoneal STSs. We present a 54-year-old woman STS encasing infrarenal abdominal aorta. The patient underwent complete oncological reconstruction using bi-iliac graft. blood vessel contraindication for surgery curative intent.
